<p>As an Expander you will prepare and expand cores to size as specified and prepare for shipping. Utilize the MRP system to record labor and other essential data.</p> <p>Currently there is an opening for an Expander in our Metals division on 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:30PM to 6:30AM)</p> <p>Metals Expander: Starting at $20.90 per hour on 3rd Shift!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare the core expander to meet work order specifications. </li><li>Assemble proper materials for the job. </li><li>Cut materials to specified size. </li><li>Expand core to proper length, width, and density. </li><li>Measure end product for accuracy. </li><li>Prepare cores for shipping. </li><li>Train other employees as needed. </li><li>Complete documentation correctly and neatly. </li><li>Assist other departments as necessary. </li><li>Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful. </li><li>Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. </li><li>Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance. </li><li>Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Mechanically inclined </li><li>Ability to work overtime. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). </li></ul>
