An affiliate of the RWJBarnabas Health system, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.</p> <p>Monmouth South is the only hospital in the region to provide private rooms on all of its inpatient units, providing an environment more conducive to healing. Several other enhancements have been made to provide superior service to Lakewood and surrounding region as well including the Better Health Senior Membership Program, state-of-the-art Geriatrics Institute, and an expansion of cancer services.</p> <p>Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is conveniently located on Route 9 in Lakewood and is committed to helping patients live their best lives by getting them back to the activities that are most important to them, sooner.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>The Administrative Supervisor represents hospital Administration and as such serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team and is invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift,</p> <p>Responsible to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center,</p> <p>Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors,</p> <p>Is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics,</p> <p>Assures safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence based practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available,</p> <p>Insure that department is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations,</p> <p>Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing current New Jersey RN license,current BLS Certification, ACLS, and PALS certification,</p> <p>at least two years of acute care nursing experience with a minimum of one year at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus or two years acute care nursing experience with previous management experience; Bachelor s Degree preferred; certification in the following: IV Therapy, EKG, Phlebotomy, Chest Pain, and Stroke,</p> <p>Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
