We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs through developing and implementing comprehensive benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent, promote employee well-being, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), wellness initiatives, and other benefits. </li><li>Oversee strategic and day-to-day program and vendor management for health insurance programs. Manage vendors with respect to service, delivery, communications, key performance measures, procurements, rate/fee negotiation, and optimization. </li><li>Serve as a lead project manager and contact for cross-departmental teams across health insurance projects and ensure progress against established objectives, timelines, quality, and deliverables. </li><li>Ensure the benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations. </li><li>Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and manage audits related to benefits programs. </li><li>Coordinate annual benefits enrollment processes and provide guidance to employees on available benefits options. </li><li>Develop and deliver comprehensive benefits communication and education programs to promote understanding and utilization of benefits. </li><li>Collaborate with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to negotiate contracts, monitor services, and ensure a high level of service for employees. </li><li>Analyze benefits data and utilization trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved employee satisfaction. </li><li>Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis of benefits packages to ensure the hospital remains competitive in the healthcare industry. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Management required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Benefits administration; plan, policy, and design; employee relations experience 3-5 years required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Excellent understanding of benefits plan design, vendor negotiations, and benefits cost analysis. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, HR team members, and external vendors. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed benefits decisions. </li></ul> </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Details (if applicable)</p> <p>Remote Type</p> <p>Remote</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>399 Revolution Drive</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Mass General Brigham Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
