This position is an at-will position</p> <p>SALARY: Beginning salary is $20.38 based upon Board approved 2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule.</p> <p>Initial placement on the salary scale based upon previous experience in a related field.</p> <p>BENEFITS: Eligible for PERA retirement plan</p> <p>Sick/Personal days earned at 1 day for every 18 days worked</p> <p>Full-Time employees are eligible for the District Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance)</p> <p>Free employee access to District indoor swimming pool, and fitness room.</p> <p>The Platte Canyon School District is committed to creating meaningful and engaging learning opportunities so that all of our students are well-prepared for post-secondary success, as well as positive contributions to their chosen communities. The District serves the mountain communities of Bailey, Pine Junction, Shawnee, and Grant.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Clear background report through fingerprint submission to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. FBI Background Information Services. </li><li>References that reflect positive experience as a receptionist/secretary in a position requiring pleasant interactions with the public. </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years experience in the secretarial field and/or specialized secretarial training in related field. </li><li>Skill in use of a business computer utilizing the Windows operating system, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher, Gmail, Gmail Calendar, and Google Drive.
