Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Tool and Fixture Specialist to join our dynamic Manufacturing Team in Heath, Ohio!</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs required tool set up, maintenance, inspection and repairs. </li><li>Manufactures assembly tools using appropriate precision tools and machinery. </li><li>Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required. </li><li>Uses appropriate precision equipment to build, maintain and inspect tools. </li><li>Provides tooling support to other organizations. </li><li>Designs various fabrication and assembly tools per part engineering drawings to enable tool fabrication using computer or paper tool design processes. </li><li>Demonstrates functionality of fabrication and assembly tools to approving authority by manufacturing first part with new tool. </li><li>Resolves problems with tool to produce acceptable parts and assemblies. </li><li>Performs routine tool set up activities. Makes minor repairs. </li><li>Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools. </li><li>Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required. </li><li>Provides tooling support to other organizations. </li><li>Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design. </li><li>Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with tooling manufacturing </li><li>5+ years of experience in fabrication tooling </li><li>5+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Experience with the set-up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machine tools </li><li>Experience working with tool and cutter grinding processes, prototype development, or fabrication processes </li><li>Experience in fabrication tooling, working with tooling and tooling processes, or working in a tooling technical field </li></ul> <p>Conflict of Interest:</p> <p>Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process</p> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>The candidate must be able to work 3rd shift</p> <p>Relocation:</p> <p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
