We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and oversee IT hardware, software, and networks </li><li>Manage and validate data backup operations, ensuring RTO/RPO compliance </li><li>Ensure timely application of security patches and program updates </li><li>Evaluate and recommend new technologies </li><li>Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and maintain IT systems securely </li><li>Implement scalable IT solutions aligned with organizational needs </li><li>Monitor system availability and resolve connectivity issues </li><li>Troubleshoot software, hardware, system, and network issues via a ticketing system </li><li>Optimize IT infrastructure performance and scalability </li><li>Continuously assess infrastructure performance, implement scalable solutions, and ensure high availability </li><li>Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans </li><li>Define and document best practices, policies, and compliance standards </li><li>Conduct server audits to ensure security and policy adherence </li><li>Assist with hardware/software evaluations and roadmap development </li><li>Ensure system stability through proactive maintenance and thorough documentation </li><li>Provide technical leadership in IT projects, mentor other engineers, and document continuous improvement efforts </li><li>Manage and optimize virtual infrastructure to ensure high availability, resource efficiency, and seamless scalability </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (e.g., IT, Computer Science, or similar) or equivalent experience </li><li>5-7 years of relevant professional experience </li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required </li><li>This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s) </li><li>Experience with various server types (web, file, application, etc.) </li><li>Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PERL) </li><li>Expertise in RHEL-based Linux </li><li>Automation experience (Ansible preferred; Terraform a plus) </li><li>Experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere 6.5+ (Horizon VDI a plus) </li><li>Experience with Docker containers (Podman and Kubernetes a plus) </li><li>Understanding of enterprise storage solutions (Pure Storage and ExaGrid a plus) </li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Atlassian tools, SonarQube) a plus </li><li>Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP) and Firewalls (FortiGate) a plus </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills </li><li>Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work independently </li><li>Willingness to work non-standard hours when needed. </li></ul>
