<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Provides clients with friendly service and meets financial needs by completing transactions and uncovering other opportunities to promote additional services.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Processes banking center transactions, safety deposit, cash machine and vault balancing activities, following bank policies and procedures. </li><li>Greets clients as they enter the banking center, identifies client needs, promotes bank products and services, and refers clients to the appropriate business colleague, if needed. </li><li>Opens personal accounts, CD's and cross-sells bank services. </li><li>Answers client inquiries and resolves less complex issues. </li><li>Builds client loyalty; establishes client relationships, including addressing each client by name. </li><li>Consistently delivers exceptional customer service to each and every client. </li><li>Adheres to established bank policies, procedures and guidelines. </li><li>Participates in retail sales programs to help meet personal and banking center goals. </li><li>Actively participates in team meetings and participates in community projects and appropriate educational programs related to the position. </li><li>Provides transaction overrides and other assistance to less experienced CSRs on transaction processing and balancing as necessary. </li><li>Assists Manager with audits, reporting and scheduling as requested. </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. </li><li>Responsible for the completion of all training related to the position. </li><li>Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements. </li></ul> <p>NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates appropriate levels of interpersonal skills for clients and staff members. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE/SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Four (4) or more years of retail banking experience preferred. </li><li>Customer service and sales oriented. </li><li>High degree of attention to detail. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Good PC skills - proficiency in Microsoft word and Excel essential. </li><li>Ability to cross-sell bank products and services. </li><li>Highly motivated. </li><li>Ability to work in a team atmosphere. </li><li>Ability to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others as appropriate, as well as of company documents and records. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>One (1) - three (3) years college preferred.</p> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Ability to travel to all locations as needed for meetings, projects, training, seminars, etc</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
