<p>This Opportunity</p> <p>WSP is currently initiating a search for a Bridge Inspector II. This position can sit in any of our Mechanicsburg, Ephrata, York, Exton, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA offices</p> <p>Provides support to technical staff, engineers, and project managers</p> <ul> <li>Review previous bridge inspection reports and assist in the planning of field operations. </li><li>Perform inspection work and compile reports. </li><li>Receive directions from Project Manager and other senior staff. </li><li>Technical compliance. </li><li></li><li>Assist with work plan preparation and coordination of site work. </li></ul> <p>Complete training on assigned tasks.</p> <ul> <li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline. </li><li>1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience </li><li>Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions. </li><li>Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment. </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives. </li><li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. </li><li>Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek. </li><li>Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Engineer in Training Certification. </li><li>A member of and/or actively participate in local professional practice organizations. </li><li>Active CBSI/NCBI credentials </li><li>Additional NHI courses for the inspection of NSTMs, Tunnels and Ancillary Structures </li></ul> <p>#LI-JL1</p>
