<p>Job Description and Duties</p> <p>Under the general direction of the Assistant Deputy Director, the Staff Services Manager I is responsible for ensuring high quality execution of the ongoing monitoring and management of all assigned assets owned or financed by the California Housing Finance Agency.</p> <p>Desirable Qualifications:</p> <p>In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Affordable housing experience, preferably multifamily </li><li>Experience training staff and developing curriculum </li><li>Experience ensuring compliance to laws, rules, and regulations </li><li>Experience auditing loan documents and/or financial documents </li><li>Experience working with internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Experience preparing reports and/or presenting data </li><li>Experience developing and/or improving procedures. </li></ul> <p>You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Hybrid telework schedules are available. The amount of telework is at CalHFA's discretion and is based on operational needs. IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE WILL BE REQUIRED WEEKLY.</p> <p>Our office is in 500 Capitol Mall, a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). (Experience in the California state service applied toward this requirement must include one year performing the duties of a class with a level of responsibility not less than that of Associate Governmental Program Analyst.) (In appraising experience more weight will be given to the breadth of pertinent experience and the evidence of the candidate's ability to accept and fulfill increasing responsibilities than to the length of the experience.)</p> <p>AND</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Equivalent to graduation from college.
