<p>The Role</p> <p>This role is responsible Operation of a Fixed Continuous Operation Production plant, ensuring high-quality output while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational standards.</p> <p>If you have, hands on experience in Fixed Production and Batching Plant operations, and an ability to undertake basic mechanical repairs, then this role will be a great fit for you.</p> <p>We are seeking people with a clear commitment to workplace safety, strong mechanical aptitude and a sound understanding of fixed and batch plant operations. This is a great opportunity for a local person to join and work with a small dynamic and supportive team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain 100% commitment to safety, following Adbri Standards and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Work independently and within a team environment. </li><li>Operate the production plant for the conversion of Quicklime through a hydration process into final product know as Milk of Lime. </li><li>Load bulk tankers with Hydrated and Milk of Lime products. </li><li>Conduct product sampling and complete basic quality testing </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot equipment failures, assisting in operational diagnostics. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Process Controls. </li><li>Ensure orders are processed on time and within specification. </li><li>Liaise with the customer service team to fulfill customer orders. </li><li>Monitor product stock levels to support uninterrupted production. </li><li>Reduce material waste by monitoring operations and offering improvement suggestions. </li></ul> <p>What You Need to Succeed</p> <ul> <li>Valid WA Drivers Licence </li><li>First Aid Certificate (including LV rescue and CPR). </li><li>Demonstrated Plant Operation experience </li><li>Quality control experience (product sampling & testing) is desirable. </li><li>Proficiency in MS office Excel, and Email </li></ul> <p>Preferred but not mandatory</p> <ul> <li>Valid Forklift Licence. </li><li>Forklift and plant operation experience in a heavy industry environment. </li><li>Confined Space Entry certification. </li><li>Working Safely at Heights certification. </li><li>Equipment and Process Isolation training. </li></ul> <p>Our business</p> <p>Cockburn Cement is the leading Western Australian manufacturer of cement, lime, packaged cement and drymix products.
