The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations and provide expert guidance to our clients. This role requires extensive knowledge of Florida building codes and certifications, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in private provider plan review. This position is part-time.</p> <p>What will you do:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that plan reviews comply with Florida building codes, local ordinances, and other relevant standards. </li><li>Conduct and oversee plan review services in areas such as building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural integrity. </li><li>Ensure that all plans reviewed and supporting documentation are completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner. </li><li>Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure open communication and high customer satisfaction. </li><li>Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with client requirements. </li></ul> <p>What will you bring:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of the Florida Building Code, including updates, and relevant regulations. </li><li>A State of Florida Building Plan Review License (PX or RPX) </li></ul> <p>Any combination of the following Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Residential Plans Examiner (R3) </li><li>Building Plans Examiner (B3) </li><li>Commercial Electrical Plans Examiner (E3) </li><li>Commercial Mechanical Plans Examiner (M3) </li><li>Commercial Plumbing Plans Examiner (P3) </li></ul> <p>Skills preferred but not required:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in plan review software and digital reporting tools. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. </li><li>Strong knowledge of private provider plan review requirements and processes in Florida. </li></ul> <p>Who We Are: WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
