<p>Description</p> <p>Warehouse Technician</p> <p>This position will report to Regional Field Service Manager. Work hours will be from 7 am to 3:30 pm.</p> <p>Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record</p> </li><li> <p>Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method</p> </li><li> <p>Recording received and shipped items.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance, repairs etc. that make sure everything is aligned and organized.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain an active CDL required to drive tractors with/without trailers for inspection</p> </li><li> <p>Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team</p> </li><li> <p>Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain calibration of all test equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Arrange for repairs to test equipment, dry air machines, and other company equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain company equipment in an organized 5S manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous warehousing and/or shipping experience is preferred for this position.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Associate degree and 2 years' experience or High School diploma and 5 years' experience in manufacturing/service warehouse environment required.</p> <p>Be available evenings and weekends to respond to emergency needs for field service.</p> <p>Ability to operate forklift effectively.</p> <p>Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>Proficient computer skills.</p> <p>Experience in SAP is highly recommended.</p> <p>CDL Class A</p> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>Protected veterans and qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
