<p>Job Title: Environmental Service Aide</p> <p>Location: RWJUH Somerset</p> <p>Department Name: Environmental Services</p> <p>Req #: 0000207048</p> <p>Status: Hourly</p> <p>Shift: Day</p> <p>Pay Range: $16.63 - $19.07 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Support Aides are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge,</p> <p>They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trashcans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse s station, hallways, stairs, elevators, floor care projects and room setups as needed,</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Required to work every other Saturday and Sunday,</p> <p>Required to work every other Holiday,</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Skills: One to two years as housekeeper or service worker preferred,</p> <p>Command of English,</p> <p>Physical Functions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods,</p> <p>Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 lbs,</p> <p>Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing or safety equipment,</p> <p>Scheduling Requirements</p> <p>Day Shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm</p> <p>As Needed</p> <p>Per Diem</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>To provide housekeeping/cleaning service that will support the highest possible level of cleanliness and sanitation to the department; provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; maintain an orderly and attractive environment throughout the facility in accordance to RWJ standards,</p> <p>Salary: $16,</p> <p>30 per hour</p> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
