This program builds on the Entry Level Operator with pay increasing after each of the four jobs is learned which means ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. The facility is one of the top performers in the division supplying material all over the United States which translates to JOB SECURITY. The Johns Manville Bremen facility has one of the best SAFETY records within the company.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understand HMIS, MSDS labels and applications</p> </li><li> <p>Read and understand production schedule</p> </li><li> <p>Understand all company product specifications and quality standards</p> </li><li> <p>Trouble shoots and fixes problems in production and reports any problems</p> </li><li> <p>Trained in Lock, Tag, Clear, Try and how to lockout dry end equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure cleaning expectations are met</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to train new employees (production level 1)</p> </li><li> <p>Know where and how all emergency stop operations work</p> </li><li> <p>What to do in an emergency evacuation</p> </li><li> <p>Signed off on all Work Instructions/JSA's for production level 1 position</p> </li><li> <p>Able to perform and maintain all checklists for dry end</p> </li><li> <p>LTCT Certified</p> </li><li> <p>Forklift Certified</p> </li><li> <p>Keep scrap and feet area clean and orderly</p> </li><li> <p>Change film on ring wrapper and on full web wrapper</p> </li><li> <p>Cut feet material using foot saw</p> </li><li> <p>Re-work bundles to put back on the line</p> </li><li> <p>Able to hand stack bundles during minor upsets</p> </li><li> <p>Scraping laminator top and side plates</p> </li><li> <p>Dry end start up, shut down and running out the board</p> </li><li> <p>Perform QA core test and learn what adjustments to make accordingly</p> </li><li> <p>Removing plastic from rollers</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor production during run</p> </li><li> <p>How to identify knit lines, blow holes, etc. and able to communicate over the radio</p> </li><li> <p>Further understanding of line adjustments during production</p> </li><li> <p>How to set out and shim laminator for next run</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to do countdown</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up crosscut for all products</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up trim saw for all products</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up perforator for all products</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to clean and adjust the mold release system</p> </li><li> <p>Able to adjust lengths in crosscut and gang saws</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up gang saw for all products</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up stacker for all products</p> </li><li> <p>Learn how to set up flippers for all products</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to wear PPE (goggles, face shield, gloves, aprons, safety shoes, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to stand for long periods of time on cement floors</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work on elevated levels</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift up to 20-50lbs on regular basis</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able operate mobile equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work overtime as needed and have a flexible work schedule, including weekends</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>At least one year working in a warehouse/production environment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Have general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages)</p> </li><li> <p>Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office)</p> </li><li> <p>Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Understand Root Cause Corrective Action Process</p> </li><li> <p>Strong decision making skills</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional team player</p> </li><li> <p>Able to drive a forklift</p> </li></ul> <p>Please Keep in Mind</p> <p>If you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
