<p>Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description</p> <p>Our mechanical engineering group collaborates with other engineers and architects on a variety of projects and building types.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a good working knowledge of the International Mechanical Code and Energy Conservation Code. </li><li>Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as a member of multi-discipline project teams. </li><li>Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with strict attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure. </li><li>Possess a working knowledge of codes and standards such as SMACNA, NEC, IBC, IMC, IECC, and ASHRAE. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>4-8 years of mechanical engineering and HVAC design experience. </li><li>Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Revit. </li><li>Strong knowledge of calculations, design, layout, and specification of commercial and institutional HVAC systems. </li><li>Experience with HVAC replacement projects and project management. </li><li>Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university or equivalent commercial HVAC design experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PE certification is ideal. </li><li>Experience in client communication, MEP design, and mechanical codes. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>After the first 90 days, employees will be on a hybrid schedule. The atmosphere is very laid-back with a focus on mentorship. Employees can participate in a mentorship program and receive support for professional development, including PE exam reimbursement and a bonus upon passing the exam.
