This role is often the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, and service providers, making it a vital part of the resident and guest experience.</p> <p>As an On-Call Concierge, you will not have a set weekly schedule but will be scheduled as needed to support the community. On-Call team members assist with coverage for planned time off, vacations, call-offs, busy periods, and special events. While weekly hours are not guaranteed, individuals who demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and strong performance are often offered additional shifts and may be considered first when part-time or full-time opportunities become available.</p> <p>Available On-Call Shifts (flexibility available):</p> <p>Monday-Friday</p> <ul> <li>8:00am - 2:15pm </li><li>2:00pm - 8:00pm </li></ul> <p>Saturday-Sunday</p> <ul> <li>8:00am - 2:15pm </li><li>2:00pm - 8:00pm </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Greet all visitors and residents with a warm, professional welcome. </li><li>Provide ongoing telephone coverage and support. </li><li>Enter maintenance work orders via TELS promptly as requests are received to ensure timely service. </li><li>Accept packages, log deliveries, and notify residents accordingly. </li><li>Assist Human Resources and other departments with clerical tasks as needed. </li><li>Resolve resident or visitor concerns with empathy while maintaining organizational expectations and professionalism. </li></ul> <p>Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>You are expected to follow direction from the Lead Concierge and work as a team to ensure smooth transitions and communication across shifts. </li><li>Remaining at the front desk at all times is a key part of this role to maintain visibility and coverage. If you need to use the restroom or step away briefly, please coordinate with someone from the Business Office behind the front desk to ensure coverage. </li><li>Promptly entering work orders into TELS at the time residents report concerns is considered best practice and helps ensure Maintenance receives requests without delay. </li><li>Maintenance is here to support residents - but timely and accurate communication from Concierge is essential to that success. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products </li><li>Must demonstrate excellent telephone and communication skills </li></ul> <p>At Rose Senior Living, we understand that our employees work best when they are healthy, happy, and excited about the here and now, as well as the future.
