This role is responsible for collecting, managing, and disseminating critical information to support the development and execution of site budgets, contracts, and payments efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the manager provides customer-focused leadership and champions collaboration in implementing the GCO-CCS operational strategy, being responsible for the management of studies, projects, and programs.</p> <p>You will be responsible to:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as the primary point of contact within GCO-CCS for global development partners, supporting end-to-end study start-up activities. </li><li>This role provides leadership and support to cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution of study milestones, including site contracting, budget development, and payments. </li><li>The manager is responsible for supervising project progress, reporting key metrics, and facilitating effective communication with internal and external partners. </li><li>The role orchestrates process improvement initiatives, develops standard methodologies, and ensures all activities adhere to regulatory and industry standards. </li><li>Acts as a subject matter expert, the manager contributes to strategic site selection, risk management, and continuous process optimization to accelerate study initiation and improve operational efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Advanced Degree preferred </li><li>At least 3-5 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical industry/clinical research required </li><li>Preferred experience in the areas of drug development, clinical trial operations, and strategic planning </li><li>Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a group/team environment </li><li>Outstanding ability to conceptualize, develop and handle timelines </li><li>Excellent written and oral presentation skills, proficient in speaking and written English </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and business partners is required </li><li>Proficient in conveying complex information in a manner that is understandable to a wide audience </li><li>Ability to guide and mentor others in group settings, one-on-one sessions and remotely </li><li>Ability to prioritize and coordinate work independently and delegate appropriately </li><li>Ability to lead multiple projects and ability to prioritize and coordinate </li><li>Ability to set baseline targets, supervise trends and implement mitigation plans </li><li>Considerable ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, team members, managers and in some instances vendors </li><li>Demonstrated skill in using Microsoft Suite of applications (strong PowerPoint and Excel required) </li><li>Flexibility to work globally across time zones </li><li>Knowledge of GCP, company SOPs, local law and regulations </li></ul> <p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
