<p>Adjunct Job Announcement</p> <p>Position: Business Management Adjunct Instructor</p> <p>Location: Athens Campus</p> <p>Department: Division of Business, Industry, & Technology</p> <p>Reports to: Program Chair for Business Management and Divisional Academic Dean</p> <p>Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.</p> <p>Deadline to Apply: June 12, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Teaches courses as directed by the program chair. </li><li>Becomes familiar with program outcomes and understands course materials. </li><li>Completes training in Blackboard learning platform, TCSG curricular standards, and program goals. </li><li>Implements course instruction to meet TCSG curricular competencies based on approved course syllabus. </li><li>Ensures that desired course outcomes meet the stated objectives. </li><li>Administers and grades class examinations. </li><li>Maintains current and accurate student records. </li><li>Submits related grades, reports and forms within requested timelines. </li><li>Submits course-related reports upon request by program chair or academic dean. </li><li>Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives for each course. </li><li>Provides a periodic performance appraisal of students to the program chair and/or other program full-time faculty. </li><li>Participates in the annual review, evaluation and recommendation of student textbooks and learning materials. </li><li>Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training areas. </li><li>Attends programmatic meetings, training, workshops and seminars, as needed. </li><li>Completes ALL required employee trainings. </li><li>Meets with students, staff members, supervisors as needed. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by program chair. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Business Management OR a completed Master's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Business Management courses required. </li><li>Three (3) years' work experience in a position related to Business Management. </li><li>Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the courses assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a position related to Business Management. </li><li>Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary environment. </li><li>Previous online teaching or training experience, including the use of video capturing tools. </li></ul> <p>To apply, click "Apply to This Job" and submit your cover letter, resume/vita, three (3) professional references, and unofficial transcripts.
