<p>The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.</p> <p>Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented </li><li>Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course </li><li>Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance </li><li>Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation </li><li>Must be dependable </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility </li><li>Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas </li><li>Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water </li><li>Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary </li><li>Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways </li><li>Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds </li><li>Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course </li><li>Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager </li></ul>
