This high-impact role reports to the Head of FP&A and partners closely with the leaders of Professional Services, Customer Support, and IT and will provide strategic financial insights, operational support, and analytical rigor to help these business units optimize performance and deliver on our long-term growth objectives.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary finance partner to the Professional Services, Customer Support, and IT leadership teams, offering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations. </li><li>Lead financial planning processes for these functions including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance tracking. </li><li>Develop and maintain financial models that enable scenario analysis, margin analysis, resource planning, and ROI evaluations. </li><li>Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including accruals, variance analysis, and reporting packages in coordination with accounting and corporate finance teams. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in reporting and forecasting tools, systems, and processes. </li><li>Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and other functional finance teams to ensure alignment with company-wide goals and consistent financial practices. </li><li>Provide executive-ready materials and insights for leadership reviews, business updates, and presentations. </li><li>Support investment business cases and ROI analysis for key services and IT related initiatives. </li><li>Identify and mitigate financial risks while helping to surface opportunities for operational efficiency and margin improvement. </li><li>Mentor and develop a small team of analysts (where applicable), promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth. </li></ul> <p>Performance Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Forecast accuracy for supported business units </li><li>Efficiency and productivity KPIs across Services and Support functions </li><li>Strategic impact of business recommendations (e.g., improved margin, optimized headcount) </li><li>Timeliness and quality of financial deliverables </li><li>Stakeholder satisfaction and cross-functional partnership effectiveness </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <p>Core Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and deep analytical capability </li><li>Comfortable operating at both the executive and tactical levels </li><li>Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across business functions </li><li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines </li><li>Curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred) </li><li>10-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance roles, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise software company </li><li>Prior experience supporting Professional Services, Customer Support, or IT organizations preferred </li><li>Strong proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Salesforce, or Looker is a plus </li><li>Experience operating in a multinational or matrixed environment is highly desirable </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>Named Top Workplace for the 8th year in a row </li><li>Wind River's commitment to DEIB </li><li>100% Employee covered Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance* </li><li>Flexible Time Off policy* + 12 observed Holidays </li><li>401K with company match </li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) </li><li>Wellness Benefits through Unmind </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The annual base salary range for this role's listed grade level is $TBD to $TBD plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $188,000 to $250,000 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members.
