<p>Utah Valley University is seeking a Lab Assistant to support students in the QuickBooks Online learning lab for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 school year. This position plays a hands-on role in helping students build practical QBO skills in a supportive, guided environment.</p> <p>The Lab Assistant will work closely with faculty to maintain and staff the QBO lab, assist in the development and testing of curriculum materials, and provide grading support. The ideal candidate brings solid working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and a sincere enthusiasm for helping others learn.</p> <ul> <li>Staff the QBO student lab and provide real-time guidance and troubleshooting support to students </li><li>Assist faculty in creating, reviewing, and testing QBO curriculum and course materials </li><li>Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback </li><li>Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and productive lab environment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Must be a current UVU student in good standing </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft products (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) </li><li>Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online functions and workflows </li><li>Genuine passion for helping others learn and succeed </li><li>Organized, proactive, and able to work independently </li><li>Strong communication skills with patience and approachability </li><li>Ability to work under the direction of faculty or assigned department </li></ul>
