<p>Title: Regional Manager, Retail Operations</p> <p>Department: Outside Retail Sales</p> <p>Reports To: Director of Retail Operations- Omnichannel</p> <p>Location: West Coast- Ideally someone located in Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO with the ability to travel</p> <p>Status: Exempt</p> <p>General Overview: The Regional Manager is multi-unit leader who drives the Rawlings brand initiatives and goals within the brand store and D-Bat locations. This person will be the first point of contact and have oversight of locations within their assigned region offering day-to-day operational and strategic sales support regarding sporting goods sales. Core responsibilities include offering day-to-day operational and strategic support to all locations, including POP merchandising, driving sales, achieving financial targets, and identifying opportunities to grow the business.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for driving sales and achieving growth targets for all Direct-to-Consumer brick & mortar channels within assigned region. </li><li>Provides guidance, via phone and in-person, for the day-to-day operations of regional retail locations are efficient and productive. </li><li>Frequently visits regional retail locations to build strong relationships and ensure that store performance level is maintained. </li><li>Coaches and mentors Brand Store teams and D-BAT Pro Shop Leaders to meet store's performance standards. </li><li>Schedules and hosts regional calls to set direction and promote collaboration across stores. </li><li>Communicates sales goals and meets with team regularly to assure metrics are being met. </li><li>Ensures that standards for merchandising are in compliance with Rawlings training. Ensures all Rawlings guidelines are followed - Square pins, promotions and discounting, product launches, merchandising standards, etc. </li><li>Works with local management as needed to ensure customer satisfaction is met, including interface with end consumers if needed. </li><li>Identifies opportunities for improvement in the stores; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale. </li><li>Identifies local market conditions to ensure the product assortment is tailored to the consumer for each store. </li><li>Communicates location assortment needs to Rawlings' internal planning team. </li><li>Holds product training seminars to ensure all teams are up to date on product feature/benefits. </li><li>In partnership with D-BAT management, ensures that pro shop staff complete the Librix product training. </li><li>Leads annual physical inventory, manages monthly cycle counts and transfers when warranted. </li><li>In partnership with D-BAT senior leadership/D-BAT ownership, conducts performance evaluation of local team to identify any performance issues. </li><li>Work collaboratively with leadership to develop marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services. </li><li>Identifies prospective opportunities in conjunction with MHL/sales rep, to drive organizational traffic through D-BAT </li><li>Implement initiatives to expand consumer engagement and touchpoints across assigned region. </li><li>Works in conjunction with local ownership and leadership teams to identify and address any employee performance or business protocol issues. </li><li>Performance management of exempt Brand Store Managers in assigned region. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:</p> <ul> <li>Five years of sales-related management experience and multi-unit retail management preferred </li><li>Three years retail supervisory experience </li><li>High School diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Proven excellent customer service skills and interpersonal / communication skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills </li><li>Proven ability to mentor and train others across multiple geographic locations. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills </li><li>Available and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions: 75% Travel required.</p> <p>Rawlings Sporting Goods Total Compensation Package:</p> <p>The health, well-being and financial stability of our employees are a high priority to us.
