<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/25/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Haworth Public School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>06/01/2026</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>SHIFT: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Prior school experience and demonstrated knowledge of basic building maintenance required. </li><li>Black Seal License preferred. </li><li>Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred. </li><li>Working knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing systems strongly preferred. </li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks associated with custodial and maintenance work. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily building maintenance and address facility needs as they arise. </li><li>Clean and maintain assigned areas of the building, including classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, nurse's office, and administrative offices. </li><li>Operate and maintain floor care equipment; knowledge of floor stripping and waxing procedures preferred. </li><li>Assist with snow and ice removal as needed. </li><li>Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities as assigned, in accordance with all district policies and state regulations. </li></ul> <p>Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.</p> <p>Annual salary range $42,000-$55,000 commensurate upon experience.
