<p>Overview</p> <p>COME BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH VIBRA HEALTHCARE!</p> <p>We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team!</p> <p>Hospital Details</p> <p>SKY REHAB, located in Bowling Green, KY is a 60 bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families. SKY Rehab Hospital has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following services and specialty programs: Inpatient Rehabilitation (Adults, Adolescents, and Children), Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults), and Stroke Specialty Program (Adults). Our hospital is also accredited by The Joint Commission.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsible for all phlebotomy and assisting with the performance of some of the Clinical Laboratory procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist. This person will maintain patient result records, laboratory documents, log sheets, make daily charges, as well as chart results.</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>ASCP phlebotomy certification preferred. </li><li>Documented training in all areas of the clinical laboratory preferred. </li><li>Experience in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or critical care setting for a minimum of one (1) year preferred. </li><li>Ability to work with Laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision preferred. </li><li>Ability to project a professional image </li><li>Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. </li><li>Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. </li><li>Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. </li><li>Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>At Vibra Healthcare, employees are our priority.
