The candidate will utilize Drosophila melanogaster as a model system and employ a combination of genetic, cell biological, and molecular tools to manipulate gene expression in adipocytes and various ovarian cell types, assessing the impacts on fat and ovarian biology. Significant experience in molecular biology, genetics, Drosophila melanogaster husbandry, and fluorescence imaging approaches is required.
