<ul> <li>Working with multiple levels of Elgin Sweeper to investigate and analyze quality problems, recommend solutions and implement corrective actions. </li><li>Assures effective systems, validations, and controls are established and maintained to transition new products and technologies from development to operational environment. </li><li>Establish robust, sustainable systems to ensure corrective and preventive measures are systematically implemented, monitored, and controlled and meet our ISO 9001 requirements. </li><li>Create/Evaluate, communicate and process appropriate Engineering Change Notices to reflect quality related changes in the production process. </li><li>Develop and maintain work instructions for assigned areas. </li><li>Perform in-station assembly audits by comparing work instructions to assembly process to ensure appropriate equipment, tooling and parts are being followed/utilized. </li><li>Investigate and make recommendations on the procurement of equipment to improve the manufacture of Elgin Products </li><li>Lead process improvement projects utilizing lean principles to implement change as a leader, participant and initiator. </li><li>Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocols. </li><li>Creates and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and product equipment. </li><li>Designs and/or specified inspection and testing mechanism and equipment. </li><li>Conduct quality assurance tests. </li><li>Flexibility to perform other duties and assignments as required. </li></ul> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering </li><li>2+ years of quality engineering experience </li><li>Experience in production environment </li><li>Knowledge of basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts </li><li>Possesses strong verbal and written communications skills </li><li>Ability to develop relationships to allow for delivery of constructive feedback and/or corrections. </li></ul> <p>Anticipated Salary Range: $72,000 - $85,000</p> <p>Benefits of Employment</p> <p>In addition to excellent career growth opportunities, Federal Signal Corporation offers a wide array of benefits including: annual bonus potential, insurance (life, medical, dental, vision), paid holidays, paid vacation, 401(k) with matching contributions and tuition reimbursement.
