<p>ProMedica Physician's Group (PPG) has an excellent opportunity for a full time, board eligible/board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy, well-established Infectious Disease practice in Sylvania, Ohio.</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Monday through Friday position </li><li>Alternating Weekends with Physician </li><li>Holiday Rotation </li><li>Position will round in Toledo Hospital, Flower Hospital, and Monroe Hospital to cover Infectious Disease Needs </li><li>Potential work in Outpatient Clinic </li></ul> <p>Position Description:</p> <ul> <li>Complete follow up appointments at the practice on patients who are released from the hospital under the care of Sylvania Infectious Disease Practice or others referred to the practice for follow up. </li><li>Assess, Treat and Develop Plan of Care within scope of any new patients referred to the Sylvania Infectious Disease Practice (Dr. Naqvi). </li><li>Monitor effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. </li><li>Exercise prescriptive authority to prescribe according to federal, state, and local laws. </li><li>Make appropriate referrals to physicians, specialists, and community resources. </li><li>Provide patient education, coaching and counseling. </li><li>Work collaboratively with Infectious Disease Physician to complete in-patient rounds in the various hospital we service (ProMedica Toledo, ProMedica Flower, and ProMedica Monroe). </li><li>Respond to calls from patients who have questions about care, medications, or appointments. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio </li><li>Certificate of Authority to practice. </li><li>Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification. </li><li>Physician Assistant - Master's?degree?- or - Nurse Practitioner - Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree </li></ul> <p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex/gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, age, physical or mental disability, military or protected veteran status, citizenship, familial or marital status, genetics, or other status protected by applicable law.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Drug-Free Workplace</p> <p>Employee Exemption Type</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Budgeted Hours / Pay Period</p> <p>80</p> <p>Shift Type</p> <p>Days</p> <p>Shift Hours</p> <p>8 hours</p> <p>Weekends</p> <p>On-call Requirements</p> <p>Additional Schedule Details</p>
