<p>Key Performance Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with supervision of students as assigned. </li><li>Performs instructional tasks with students under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher. Duties may include small group, large group, one to one student assistance or other such duties/ assignments as determined by certified staff or building administrator. </li><li>Must approach tasks in a pleasant, cooperative and positive manner. </li><li>Practice patience and tenacity under trying conditions with students. </li><li>Keep school matters confidential. </li><li>Performs assigned supervision of students. </li><li>Alert the certified staff to any problem or special information about an individual student. </li><li>Assist with ensuring full implementation of instructional modifications and accommodations for student with IEP's. </li><li>Adapt to students and their unique learning styles. </li><li>Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality to assigned duties. </li><li>Work with others, such as therapists, counselors, social workers, job coaches and other instructional assistants. </li><li>Maintain a professional demeanor at all times in appearance and attitude. </li><li>Attend appropriate staff meetings and trainings as deemed necessary or assigned by the building administrator or supervising teacher.
