<p>Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for reviewing marketing advertisements, labels, substantiation claims, creating regulatory forms and procedures, reviewing scientific studies for accuracy, and managing international markets.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review marketing text for advertising, banners, and brochures and making sure it meets government standards </li><li>Participate in the creation, implementation, and execution of standards and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with all required standards </li><li>Review labels and cartons to ensure they meet governmental requirements nationally </li><li>Match label information to formula, directions, cautions, and trademarks making sure all wording is correct </li><li>Review substantiation claims to ensure they accurately reflect government regulations </li><li>Document job requirements, create flow-maps, forms, and procedures for all regulatory job functions </li><li>Stay abreast of government changes to regulatory regulations by attending regulatory trainings and seminars as needed </li><li>Create and update Supplement Facts labels and Ingredient Listings as needed </li><li>Manage Raw Material Documentation and act as liaison between Quality and R&D </li><li>Other duties and assignments may be given as business needs evolve </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's of Science (Biology, Chemistry, Health) or related field preferred </li><li>Minimum 1-3 years of industry related experience, with experience working with nutraceuticals and cosmetics </li><li>Strong analytical skills and business acumen </li><li>Ability to follow established guidelines and work within specified procedures with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation </li><li>Good understanding of government regulations and processes </li><li>Action-oriented style of work and an ability to consistently exceed agreed upon expectations </li><li>Ability to adapt to changing environment and priorities with urgency </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate to regulatory agencies </li><li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal) </li></ul>
