<p>Salary Range: $ 77,000 - $82,500 per year.</p> <p>The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair's total compensation package for employees. You are required to be onsite Monday through Thursday in our Boston, MA headquarters. Friday is WFH.</p> <p>We are seeking an Analyst to join our Data Health Accounting team. Are you curious about how data flows through a complex, global e-commerce ecosystem? Do you enjoy investigating anomalies, ensuring data accuracy, and solving problems at the intersection of accounting, operations, and technology? The Data Health & Monitoring team sits within Wayfair's Accounting organization and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial data.</p> <p>Data Health teams are responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of our data and operations. Key functions include maintaining data health, monitoring real-time financial data, and driving process improvements. We monitor data through dashboards and trends to identify irregularities; partner with Engineering and operational teams to resolve upstream issues; and work to reduce topside journal entries through strong root-cause analysis.</p> <p>We are a highly collaborative, analytical, and fast-moving team - come join us!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor key data-quality dashboards daily to identify anomalies, missing or inconsistent data, and financial irregularities across order, inventory, cost, and revenue flows. </li><li>Investigate issues using GBQ, SAP data, and system reconciliations, documenting findings clearly and logically for stakeholders. </li><li>Support the monthly close process by identifying upstream issues that may drive topside journal entries. </li><li>Track, manage, and validate data issues in partnership with Finance Engineering, Accounting, Finance Operations, and Product/Tech teams. </li><li>Support the enhancement and automation of a centralized data health monitoring source using AI and Data Hub. </li><li>Build foundational knowledge of how operational events (shipments, receipts, cancellations, adjustments) translate into financial outcomes. </li><li>Develop in a hands-on environment where you will own investigations and collaborate with cross-functional partners. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field </li><li>Minimum GPA of 3.0 (for current/recent students) </li><li>Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future </li><li>Experience working with large and/or complex datasets in one or more of the following: </li><li>Excel or Google Sheets </li><li>SQL, GBQ, or another query language </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Interest in a role that blends Accounting, data analysis, and systems problem-solving </li><li>Ability to simplify complex data issues, identify root causes, and communicate actionable insights </li><li>Strong attention to detail and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments </li><li>Ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical partners </li><li>Curiosity about financial systems, upstream data flows, and operational-to-accounting linkages </li><li>Strong comfort level and appetite for using AI tools in daily workflow </li></ul> <p>Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>Wayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
