As a hospital deeply rooted in the local community, you will experience the best of both worlds: a genuine local culture with the benefits of Thrive's national resources.</p> <p>About The Hospital</p> <p>At Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital, we offer primary care, urgent care, boarding, grooming, bathing, and dentistry for dogs, cats, and pocket pets in Collinsville, Granite City, Edwardsville, Maryville, and Fairview Heights.</p> <p>We have a strong belief in preventive care, offering customized vaccine protocols and multiple levels of disease detection panels at our patients' annual visits.</p> <p>Our hospital also prides itself on having state-of-the-art equipment including a digital X-ray machine like those used in human medicine. The digital X-ray machine allows us to take high-quality radiographs in seconds and gives our doctors images with better diagnostic quality. We also offer cold laser therapy to help treat pain and inflammation in a wide variety of conditions. This often allows us to decrease the amount of pain medications needed to control painful conditions like arthritis and intervertebral disk disease.</p> <p>Your Experience & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Passion to help and treat animals </li><li>Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Previous experience in animal care or other related fields is preferred but not required </li></ul> <p>You're Willing And Able To</p> <ul> <li>Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animals </li><li>Assist in restraining animals for veterinary team members </li><li>Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates </li><li>Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals </li><li>Maintain a clean and healthy environment </li></ul> <p>You'll Grow with Us</p> <p>Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
