<p>The Production Supervisor plans, organizes, supervises, and coordinates the work of manufacturing and maintenance to meet company and customer goals with quality and efficiency. Manage and lead direct reporting employees.</p> <p>Monday - Friday 2:00PM to 11:00PM</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plans and organizes work to meet daily production and shipping requirements. </li><li>Maintains inventory of required raw materials and ensures that materials are ordered in a timely manner. </li><li>Monitors quality of products to verify conformance to specifications. Controlling and assuring the quality of outgoing material. </li><li>With the support of the production manager and/or supervisor II, trains new employees in job requirements and existing employees on new techniques. </li><li>Assist in interpreting company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations. </li><li>Assist in interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assign duties. </li><li>Assist in creating and modifying manufacturing instructions. </li><li>Assist in implementing and maintaining shop floor practices such as: lean manufacturing by utilizing teams. </li><li>Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner, including order status and contract review. </li><li>Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. </li><li>Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance. </li><li>Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least two years progressively more responsible experience </li><li>Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school. </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). </li></ul>
