<p>ABOUT US</p> <p>JENMAR is seeking to fill a maintenance position where the employee possesses fundamental mechanical knowledge to perform inside/outside routine maintenance or preventive maintenance for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment that includes setup and adjustments for production runs and installation/repair of machines and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures.</p> <p>Employee may interact with vendors to obtain estimates and submits orders for repair parts and supplies as needed.</p> <p>EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High School/GED Required </li><li>Valid Driver's License Required </li><li>One-to-Two (1-2) Years Maintenance-Related Experience Required </li><li>Twenty-four to Thirty-Six (24-36) Months On-The-Job Training Required </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work 40+ flexible schedule as required </li><li>Possess ability to read and comprehend written instruction; follow verbal directives; follow general and maintenance-specific safety procedures and guidelines </li><li>Possess functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and decimals to perform basic math calculations and measurement computing using tape measure and/or </li></ul> <p>micrometers</p> <ul> <li>Possess functional mechanical knowledge with ability to develop good fabricating and trouble-shooting skills including pneumatic and hydraulic systems </li><li>Possess working knowledge of operational functions for general maintenance equipment including cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and cutting equipment, and </li></ul> <p>hand/power tools</p> <ul> <li>Possess basic computer skills </li><li>Possess a "Team Member" mentality with a QA/safety oriented mindset when performing maintenance duties or operational instruction </li><li>Possess self-motivational skills to perform duties without direct supervision with ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure </li><li>Possess functional communication skills to interact with management, co-workers, and outside vendors </li><li>Possess close visual acuity, near/far vision, and multiple limb coordination </li><li>Possess manual dexterity and moderate/heavy (20-80 lbs) lifting capability while performing essential job duties </li><li>Possess repetitive standing, walking, and/or bending capability during normal phase duties </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to performing maintenance actions. </li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, routine maintenance or preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. Maintenance actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; providing corrective actions as required. </li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. </li><li>Perform at a training-level capacity computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment. </li><li>Perform housekeeping actions adhering to post maintenance/repair procedures. </li></ul> <p>Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; voluntary 401k plan with company match up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life and short term disability coverage.</p> <p>EOE M/F/D/V</p> <p>2nd shift - 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.</p> <p>Monday through Thursday</p>
