Great way to network, develop your skills and work in various medical departments - Primary Care, Specialty & Surgical Offices, etc. </li><li>Region C: Will cover medical offices/departments in the following towns: Wilton, Norwalk, New Canaan, Darien & Westport. </li></ul> <p>Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for physician practice.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs reception of customers and communicates pleasantly and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Registers, verifies and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.</p> </li><li> <p>Reschedules cancelled, no show, tickler appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>Processes record requests, including the copying, billing, charging and recording.</p> </li><li> <p>Collects co-pays and reconciles moneys for deposit.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes audits as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation and correspondence via eFax.</p> </li><li> <p>Presents a professional appearance and image.</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains and Model Nuvance Health Values.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as required.</p> </li></ol> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Education Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent • 1 year customer related experience required • Preferred: 1+ years of healthcare experience</p> <p>PRN Rate: $25.58</p> <p>With strong hearts and open minds, we're pushing past boundaries and challenging the expected, all in the name of possibility.
