<p>The Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS) is seeking a Retirement Compliance Officer to work in the External Compliance and Education Bureau. </p> <p>Are you passionate about providing exceptional support and service? If so, we invite you to join our team at IPERS.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As the Retirement Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries received through IPERS' dedicated employer support line, Employer Self Service (ESS) internet portal messages, email, written correspondence, and other forms of communication regarding compliance, training, reporting, and contribution issues.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively and professionally with employers verbally and in writing regarding coverage laws, compensation arrangements, and corrective actions. </li><li>Be a subject matter expert for IPERS' ESS internet portal processes. </li><li>Assist employers with processes, including reporting wages, submitting contributions, correcting wages, and maintaining employer and member accounts. </li><li>Troubleshoot technical pension administration system issues and processing errors. </li><li>Conduct research and complete follow-up regarding wage reporting, compliance, employer training, document and form requests. </li><li>Assist new reporting officials and organizations to become familiar with IPERS' processes and requirements. </li><li>Review member accounts to determine if corrections are needed. </li><li>Analyze data on various reports, spreadsheets, etc. to find and correct data/compliance issues. </li><li>Assist with administrative tasks for IPERS comprehensive employer training program. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance (coverage begins the first of the month after 30 days of employment).
