Ensuring all sourcing quality requirements have been completed. Working with multiple departments for the planning and execution of shipping deadlines while ensuring customer and internal quality requirements are completed. The DSQR will also assure the departments records, logs, and training is audit ready at all times.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform DSQR (Designated Supplier Quality Representative) inspection. </li><li>Interpret AS9100D, ISO9001:2015, GE S-1000, UTC ASQR-01, and other customer, material, or process specifications. </li><li>Help create and maintain sourcing inspection documentation records. </li></ul> <p>Requirements / Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of quality experience in an aerospace quality assurance environment </li><li>Must be able to work required hours necessary to ensure delivery of customer product </li><li>Ability to interpret blueprints and an understanding of GD&T </li><li>Ability to use standard inspection equipment </li><li>Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office software </li><li>Ability to present information in a competent, efficient manner in dealing with the various levels of company personnel </li><li>Must have a competitive spirit and willingness to learn </li><li>All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager </li><li>Must be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast-paced with a strong commitment to accountability </li><li>20/20 vision (natural or corrected) required </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent- documentation required </li><li>Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)- documentation required </li><li>MTI is a safety sensitive manufacturer. As such, successful result of pre-employment drug testing will be required. </li></ul> <p>Preferable Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of GE parts, processes and documentation </li><li>Past/Current DSQR or DQR experience or certification through SAE </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Work Environment:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and move throughout the facility. Will use hands, frequent stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, crouching, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. Work with hand tools and power tools and some heavy lifting is required. 20/20 vision is required (natural or corrected). Work in manufacturing environment and use of computer (typical 2-button scroll mouse and keyboard - 80% of the work day). The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Must be able to use required personal protective equipment.
