And so much more.</p> <p>Come break through with us.</p> <p>Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.</p> <p>Role Purpose</p> <p>Managing and optimizing the forecasting processes within the PCS business to deliver accurate, data-driven predictions that enable effective decision-making, strategic planning, and operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in aligning near-term and long-term demand projections with organizational objectives, ensuring the business remains competitive and agile in a dynamic market environment.</p> <p>Position will require as much as 25%</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement forecasting models to predict demand in the near-term (6 months) and long-term (>2 years) for PCS product lines </li><li>Use market trends, analyst reports, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy. </li><li>Collaborate with teams (Market Intelligence, Product Managers, customer service, Finance, etc.) to gather data and align forecasts with business goals. </li><li>Ensure forecasts reflect real-time market conditions through regular communication across departments. </li><li>Analyze industry trends and competition to guide forecasting decisions. </li><li>Use data sources and predictive analytics to anticipate demand changes and opportunities. </li><li>Lead regular demand review meetings and present forecasts during Sales & Operational Plan (S&OP) discussions. </li><li>Work with stakeholders to address demand gaps and refine projections. </li><li>Continuously improve forecasting tools, processes and deploying new systems </li><li></li></ul>
