A positive commitment to teaching excellence and responsibilities will include an ability to create and instruct in the following: Introduction to Architecture and Related Professions, Blueprint Reading, Hand Sketching, Hand Perspective Drawing, AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties</p> <p>Responsibilities & Duties:</p> <p>All Faculty will maintain an on-site campus presence to encourage in-person relationships and create engaging, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences.</p> <p>All SLCC employees must maintain permanent residence/address within the State of Utah to maintain employment. A permanent Utah address must be recorded to Human Resources within 30-days of your employment start date.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>B-ARCH or MS in Architecture or Architecture License. </li><li>Three (3) years full-time work experience in architectural practice. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Successful teaching experience in higher education. </li><li>Proven engaging and professional demeanor/persona in academic setting. </li><li>Architectural skills and knowledge to teach the following courses: </li><li>Digital Graphics (Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere or After Effects), Residential and Commercial Materials and Methods of Construction, Digital Modeling/ Rendering/Animation, and Residential/Commercial Drafting. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>KSA's:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Exhibit knowledge of current best practices in architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Present a strong, proven understanding of all aspects of architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Current in technological advances related to the architecture industry tools and software.</p> </li><li> <p>Exhibit proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT to teach courses applicable to architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Present a strong, proven knowledge of residential and commercial methods of construction.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate teamwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively through writing and speech.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess strong management and organizational skills: be self-motivated to make decisions, multi-task, prioritize work and manage deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate participation in industry/community relationships.</p> </li><li> <p>Architectural skills and knowledge to teach the following courses: Introduction to Architecture and Related Professions, Blueprint Reading,</p> </li></ol> <p>Hand Sketching, Perspective Drawing</p> <p>AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.</p> <p>Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties Special Instructions</p> <p>Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States at time of hire.</p> <p>Priority Review Date: May 6, 2025</p> <p>Applications received by this date will have first consideration.
