<p>## Company:</p> <p>Qualcomm Atheros, Inc.</p> <p>## Job Area:</p> <p>Operations Group, Operations Group >Test Technician</p> <p>General Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Perform chipset evaluation based upon engineering specifications. Work closely with the engineering staff to perform tests on chipset and provide analysis of test results. </li><li>Will be working in lab and on test floor daily using ATE platform and bench level setup. </li><li>Be able to follow documented procedures and checklists to ensure work is performed with the highest level of quality. </li><li>Technicians will operate external equipment in an ESD safe environment. </li><li>Technicians will be working on handlers and prober (training will be provided) </li><li>Perform basic preventative maintenance activities on equipment and test floor. </li><li>Multi-tasked responsibilities include non-standard processing and problem-solving, as well as actual processing of device. </li><li>Supporting Level 1 test floor/ lab. </li><li>Daily usage of Unix/Linux and Windows based programs. </li><li>Material handling of devices in an ESD control environment. </li><li>Support engineering team with daily tasks request and supporting requested setup. </li><li>Will be moving items over 50lbs </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>3+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>4 to 5 years in the semiconductor field is a plus </li><li>Good problem-solving ability is a must. </li><li>Good communication skills. </li><li>Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities. </li><li>Basic math skills are required. </li><li>Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment such as TCU, Thermostream, DMM, etc. is a plus </li><li>Candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations and attention to detail is must. </li><li>Basic Computer Systems: Computer Literacy, MS word, excel, PPT, Email required. </li><li>Must be flexible for on schedule for days and nights. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Labview/TestStand </li><li>Familiarity with Teradyne uFLEX </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>AA/AS degree or certificate in electronics required. </li><li>Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
