<p>Position Title:</p> <p>golf relations specialist</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Responsible for general customer service duties and assisting the golf professionals with day-to-day operations. Performs other related duties as required.</p> <p>Typical Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Answers phone calls and books reservations for customers. </li><li>Completes point-of-sale transactions for green fees and merchandise. </li><li>Assures golf carts are clean and staged in an orderly fashion. </li><li>Assists with practice area and driving range operations and management. </li><li>Responsible for cleanliness of clubhouse interior and grounds. </li><li>Expedites play on a golf course. May make recommendations to golfers concerning joining other groups and waving other golfers through. </li><li>Assists in other golf operations as requested. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of golf industry and golf standards. </li><li>Outstanding communications, public relations, and customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to keep accurate records and maintain proper accounting of fees, purchases, and other activities. </li><li>Ability to perform basic gardening or general maintenance work. </li></ul> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this job.
