<p>Position Title:</p> <p>Assistant Track & Field Coach</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Assistant Coach reports directly to the Director of Cross Country, Track & Field and is responsible for working, as directed, with the Head Track & Field Coaches towards the planning and execution of a successful Track & Field program. The program operates within the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Director, Head Coaches, Athletic Department, and University</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support in training implementation of one or more training groups</p> </li><li> <p>Competition planning & execution</p> </li><li> <p>Practice planning & execution</p> </li><li> <p>Recruiting prospective student-athletes</p> </li><li> <p>Successfully facilitating the enrollment of talented student-athletes, as well as maintaining a roster minimum for specific event areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Student-athlete Formational Support</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage and participate in the human formational dimensions of the program.</p> </li></ul> <p>Tasks will also include some, but not all, of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Student-athlete academic support </li><li>Home competition management </li><li>Travel arrangements </li><li>Apparel, practice, and competition equipment </li><li>Program and facility purchases </li><li>Social Media management </li><li>Assist in alumni engagement/fundraising </li><li>Administrative lead on any of the following </li><li>*Official Visits, Travel per diem, CARA hours, and others as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required </li><li>Successful coaching experience required </li></ul> <p>Salary:</p> <p>$40,800/year</p> <p>(Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications).</p> <p>Employee Benefits:</p> <p>This full-time, exempt position includes full benefits and vacation, holiday, and sick leave.
