The Nursing Tutor facilitates and enhances students' mastery of nursing concepts during in-person and virtual individual and group sessions. This position requires a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. The Nursing Tutor must possess strong communication and organization skills.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with the demand for nursing tutor services by facilitating learning as a guide and coach to assist students to become independent learners.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrate effective study learning strategies to maximize students' potential for success with nursing program content and NCLEX</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with nursing faculty and Director of Retention to identify students at-risk and develop retention strategies for nursing students.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep detailed notes and attendance of tutoring services.</p> </li></ul> <p>This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
