<p>The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric services are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana </p> <p>ELMHS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team in our housekeeping department.</p> <p>Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assign duties and responsibilities to subordinate Custodian staff located in various units of ELMHS.  </li><li>Provide oversight and support to ensure that duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with ELMHS policies, procedures and protocols. </li><li>Provide unit-specific orientation and competency assessment for subordinate Custodian Staff  </li><li>Inspect assigned buildings to assure compliance with assigned duties. Utilizes the Continuous Performance Management system to document subordinate custodial staff performance.  </li><li>Oversee procedures for subordinate staff in the cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation of areas in which body fluids are present.  </li><li>Verify the proper disposal of bio-hazardous waste.
