The school is spread over two campuses, with K-2 students on the Greenwich Road site and the 3-6 students on the Kingslangley site. There are currently four support unit classes based over the two sites. The school offers a broad curriculum, including strong literacy and numeracy programs. It is known throughout the community for the wide variety of creative arts opportunities. The school is well resourced and supported in technology. The school has a dynamic staff of both early career and experienced teachers. Parents are valued as active partners in their child's education and there is a strong link between school and home. The community actively supports all school initiatives to ensure the best educational opportunities for all students.</p> <p>About the role</p> <p>The position is for a Stage 2 class for Semester 2, with a handover week in Week 11 of Term 2, if possible. The successful applicant will be responsible for the teaching and learning of the Stage 2 class.</p> <p>Role criteria</p> <ul> <li>A passion for developing a positive classroom learning environment to engage and support a diverse range of students through high quality differentiated teaching and learning programs. </li><li>Ability to provide support and extension for students to ensure they are challenged. </li><li>Capacity to support a range of school programs and extra-curricular activities, such as public speaking, debating, choir, coding or STEM groups etc. </li><li>Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents. </li></ul> <p>Who can apply</p> <p>Teachers who have current approval to teach primary K-6 in NSW, including casual, temporary and permanent teachers.
