<p>Location: Kansas City, MO, United States</p> <p>Share: Share with Email Share on Twittershare to twitter Share on Facebookshare to facebook Share on LinkedInshare to linkedin</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>Save Job Saved</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Commercial Sales Support Administrator processes purchase orders from Multivac companies and converts them into sales orders for execution by Manufacturing and Engineering departments. They act as the primary contact for sales order entry and initial communication with Sales companies for all produced items. The role also monitors the order intake backlog and tracks delivery performance.</p> <p>Time Utilization: Normal business hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:</p> <ul> <li>Process orders via price control, order confirmation, credit notes, invoices, etc. to support the sales organization. </li><li>Manage sales order dates for manufacturing, reporting, and sales document adjustments to match production dates, reporting as requested to Sales company. Process and monitor all sales orders, ensuring due dates align with sales order dates. </li><li>Perform all SAP related tasks such as order and project creation, completion of purchase orders for film and trays, and RMA creation for repair orders. </li><li>Convert orders into lead time and cost focused projects. Split orders if necessary to better align with production capacity and lead times. </li><li>Create purchase orders for third party and Multivac equipment to support manufacturing of line projects as required and manage purchase order delivery dates for accurate production planning. </li><li>Manage sales order documentation with sales companies, film suppliers, and third-party suppliers to support production. </li><li>Request and ensure necessary customer testing materials are in-house when needed for equipment trials including film, trays or customer product. </li><li>Track invoices and confirmations for all orders to ensure approval to ship is granted. </li><li>Report on sales order priorities, due dates, lead times, quantities by model or type, and project margins. </li><li>Report on work in process, backlog status, and the completion of all sales order documentation. </li><li>Manage Concession Release process, ensuring all concession requests are completed before releasing to Logistics for shipment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <p>Associate's degree in business or related field and two years' sales administration experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SAP (or equivalent MRP system) sales order processing experience required. Prior experience with forecast scheduling of customer equipment a plus. SAP experience a plus.</p> <p>Language Ability:</p> <p>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.</p> <p>Math Ability:</p> <p>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability:</p> <p>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.</p> <p>Computer Skills:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Proficiency with manufacturing related software and ERP systems required.</p> <p>Certificates and Licenses:</p> <p>Current valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <p>No supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
