<p>Job Title: Assembly Engineer</p> <p>Location: Middletown, Connecticut</p> <p>Shift: 1st Shift</p> <p>US Citizenship Required (due to ITAR regulations)</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support Lead Test Engineers by providing technical guidance and coordinating daily activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead cross-functional teams during engine assembly, disassembly, and testing operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee installation, monitoring, and management of test instrumentation and data collection systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with assembly floor and test stand personnel to ensure timely and efficient execution of build and test processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot issues related to engines and test stands; implement corrective actions as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage test hardware and instrumentation throughout the full project lifecycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports and documentation summarizing test results and findings.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience in engine hardware, assembly, and/or engine test operations required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of engine performance metrics, instrumentation systems, and test data analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in SAP, Teamcenter, and formal assembly/test documentation processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities; capable of managing responsibilities across multiple engine programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including hourly and salaried team members, customers, and external partners.</p> </li></ul> <p>Department: Transportation (NAM) Associate Positions: 1 Skills Required: Testing Operations,Instrumentation,Engines,Working Independently,Teamwork,Troubleshooting Location: Middletown, Connecticut Desireable Skills: Testing Operations,Instrumentation,Engines,Working Independently,Teamwork,TroubleshootingDesignation: AssociatePosted On: 02-Jul-2025</p>
