Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing moderately complex engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors, contributing to issue resolution, and collaborating with others to meet deliverables while ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.</p> <p>Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.</p> <p>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters or GCP projects for Spark workloads </li><li>Support platform capabilities for statistical model execution </li><li>Design and implement large-scale data processing workflows using Apache Spark </li><li>Tune Spark jobs using Kubernetes orchestration and auto-scaling </li><li>Build Python/Django services and microservices supporting platform users </li><li>Configure tooling and internal applications for data processing and model execution </li><li>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Sonar, Harness, Helm </li><li>Monitor Spark jobs and cluster health using Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP tools </li><li>Debug distributed systems and optimize resource utilization </li><li>Implement RBAC and encryption for data in transit and at rest </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and support deployments </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
