<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your co-workers through the implementation of and participation in proactive safety activities. </li><li>Support the financial cycle for the district (financial closings- monthly, quarterly, annually) </li><li>Sustain operational budget/forecast process and variance analysis with Excel modeling </li><li>General Ledger review and monthly reconciliation reviews. </li><li>Assist finance/operations in compiling and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) </li><li>Provide support for maintenance of CAPEX requests and reporting </li><li>Perform standard and ad hoc analyses for management </li><li>Assist operations personnel to track, record and reconcile daily plant performance andamp; production </li><li>Assist with audit and compliance request, document procedures and controls </li><li>Maintain internal controls </li><li>Assist operations in inventory analysis and physical inventory counts </li><li>Collaborate and communicate with leaders to assist with data collection, data analysis, and data visualization. </li><li>Utilize statistics, forecasting, and modeling techniques to deliver data relevant to current business conditions and supports business planning. </li><li>Support operations through data analysis to highlight variables within the process and potential correlations. </li><li>Compile data from multiple sources including spreadsheets and databases. </li></ul> <p>Results/Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Acquire strong knowledge of the business </li><li>Document financial/business issues for improvement opportunities </li><li>Timely and accurate monthly management reporting </li><li>Compliance with policies and procedures </li><li>Consistency of accounting/statutory reporting and product line reporting </li><li>Review agreements and contracts for financial implications </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li><li>Document financial/business issues for improvement opportunities </li><li>Compliance with policies and procedures </li><li>Design management reporting for sustainability </li><li>Process improvement projects delivered within management goals and guidelines </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting </li><li>2-5 years of finance/accounting experience (manufacturing environment a plus) </li><li>Prior inventory experience preferred </li><li>Enterprise system experience (Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP) </li><li>Data system analysis experience (a plus) </li><li>Excellent oral and written skills </li><li>Capable of managing multiple tasks: time management, planning, and organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Interaction with Division and Corporate support staff </li><li>Self-motivated; Able to work in a team environment </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills- verbal and written </li><li>Demonstrated ability in financial/business analysis </li><li>Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office </li><li>GAAP knowledge </li></ul>
