<p>Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN)</p> <p>Sign-On Bonus: Up to $6,000</p> <p>Night & Weekend Shift Differentials Available</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>The Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a calm overnight environment. This position provides hands-on nursing care, supports resident safety and comfort, and collaborates with the care team to ensure continuity of care throughout the night.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide total nursing care to residents on the assigned unit during the night shift </li><li>Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations </li><li>Communicate care plans, procedures, and treatments clearly to residents and families </li><li>Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders </li><li>Document care and resident responses thoroughly and timely </li><li>Give and receive detailed shift reports to ensure continuity of care </li><li>Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident comfort, safety, and condition </li><li>Supervise and support CNAs, ensuring accurate daily documentation </li><li>Coordinate care with therapists to support 24-hour rehabilitation needs </li><li>Record diet changes and communicate updates to the Dietary Department </li><li>Participate in quality improvement activities, in-services, and staff meetings </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program </li><li>Active RN/LPN state license in good standing </li><li>Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (or equivalent) </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Commitment to professionalism and compassionate care </li></ul> <p>Reports To: Director of Nursing</p> <p>Shift Differentials</p> <ul> <li>Weekday Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM): +$1.50/hr </li><li>Weekend Days (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM): +$2.50/hr </li><li>Weekend Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM): +$4.00/hr </li></ul> <p>Benefits Snapshot</p> <ul> <li>Sign-On Bonus up to $6,000 </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) that increases with years of service </li><li>Paid Holidays, including your birthday </li><li>Holiday Pay: Time and a half when working a holiday (full-time) </li><li>Sick Leave accrual </li><li>Overtime Pay (1.5×) </li><li>Paid breaks and meal periods </li><li>Jury Duty Pay </li><li>Social Security and retirement contributions </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love Working Nights Here</p> <ul> <li>Quieter environment with fewer interruptions </li><li>Supportive leadership and strong teamwork </li><li>More autonomy and focused resident care </li><li>Competitive night and weekend differentials </li><li>Consistent scheduling </li><li>Professional growth opportunities </li></ul>
