We act as hands-on advisors, leveraging industry expertise and best practices to enhance performance across functions.</p> <p>This individual will sit within the go-to-market (GTM) team, which supports portfolio companies in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Services, Support and Customer Success.</p> <p>We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Intern to join our team to support benchmarking, impact reporting, and strategic initiatives for the GTM team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data-driven analysis, an interest in supporting cross-functional projects that enhance efficiency, retention, and overall GTM effectiveness, and the desire to learn about best practices for high-performing software companies.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Intern will support several activities across the GTM team to help maximize the team's impact and efficiency in supporting our portfolio companies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct benchmarking and analysis across our portfolio. Sample projects include: benchmarking key GTM metrics across our portfolio to identify bright spots, concerns and trends; owning quantitative analysis on metrics such as Growth Efficiency Index (GEI), retention, sales productivity and marketing efficiency; assessing technology stack usage and related spend, benchmarking against best-in-class standards</p> </li><li> <p>Support impact reporting and the creation and maintenance of Value Creation Initiatives (VCIs): Maintain and develop case studies demonstrating GTM impact; package, maintain and update VCI work products for reuse across the portfolio (e.g. with new case studies or partner insights); contribute to the development of new VCIs</p> </li><li> <p>Provide operational and project support to the Portfolio Ops team, including support for webinars, conferences, and other communications needs and managing relationships with key GTM partners to ensure smooth collaboration</p> </li><li> <p>Champion a culture of high-performance, process, accountability and innovation with a focus on growth and business results</p> </li></ul> <p>Ideal Experience and Competencies</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current student or recent graduate of an undergraduate or business program, with demonstrated interest in finance and/or technology</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in a consulting, operations, strategy, or data-focused role. Exposure to software companies and GTM functions a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including experience with PowerPoint</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience with Excel; knowledge of SQL or BI tools is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and ability to package insights into compelling deliverables.</p> </li></ul> <p>Perks</p> <p>At PSG, we are committed to showing our deep appreciation for the hard work of our team.
